At this year’s Dig the City Manchester Arndale presents an interactive garden with a quirky twist, inviting shoppers to paint Manchester’s largest flower garden design in Halle Square. Families and kids can paint a section of the 7m x 8m floral garden throughout the week, so it will be beautifully complete as Dig the City comes to a close on 6 August.
The popular Dig the City Family Trail also returns during the festival, where children can collect stamps in a selection of the centre’s kids stores for a green-fingered children’s gift*, to be collected in Halle Square.
Times: 11:30am – 5:30pm daily.
On Thursday 6 August, Wild Rumpus will run crafting activities alongside the floral garden, where kids can design and make their own head dresses between 10am – 3pm, to celebrate Dig the City.
